Hello, my name is Kathy Rogers. I am so excited to have you in fifth grade this year. This will be my 25th year teaching - all 25 at Wooldridge. 16 of the first 24 were in 5th grade, 4 were in 4th grade, and 4 were as an instructional coach, supporting 3rd-5th grade teachers. I am the proud mama of three beautiful children. Josh, 23, Isaiah, 22, and Erica 19. Josh works at HEB here in Austin. Isaiah is pursuing a dream in film in Los Angeles, California, and Erica is working on a degree in Math Education at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. The thing I want you to know most about me is that I love children and I love teaching. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Welcome to 5th grade, my name is Ms. Jennifer Blakely. This year will be my 29th year of teaching at Wooldridge. During this time, I have had the pleasure and opportunity to serve our Wooldridge community in the role of Pre-K, Kinder, 1st grade and presently 5th grade teacher as well as a Reading Coach and Newcomer teacher. I am happily married to my husband of 38 years and am the proud parent of three very successful daughters. My eldest daughter is Ms. Alexandra Huerta, who graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and serves as one of our Wooldridge Instructional Coaches. My middle daughter, Ms. Danielle Leger, is a hair stylist at a Salon in Austin. My youngest daughter, Ms. Sydnie Leger, is a Design Team Consultant for an Electrical Company. The most important thing for you to know about me is that I am very passionate about the work I do as a teacher. My greatest joy is helping our Wooldridge students be their best selves by empowering them with knowledge. It is very important that we keep an open line of communication throughout the school year to ensure everyone's success. That being said, please do not hesitate to contact me with any and all questions and concerns you may have.

Hello, my name is Lynn Conroy. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach 5th Grade again. This will be my 39th year of teaching: the first three years were in Taylor and Weslaco. The remaining 36 years in education remain in Austin at Metz, Harris and Wooldridge Elementary. I have had the opportunity to teach first through seventh grade, but a majority of my experience is in fifth grade ( 22 years). I joined Wooldridge 18 years ago as a fifth grade teacher with a majority of it in science. An opportunity to become the Newcomer teacher at Wooldridge lasted for three years. I jumped at the chance to go back into fifth grade last year because I truly missed being in the classroom and was able to rejoin my 5th Grade teammates who are awesome humans! I put roots down in Central Texas about 40 years ago after spending much of my early childhood overseas. Through my dad’s job, we moved frequently and I became exposed to many cultures and places. I believe my education through travelling has led me to the path of teaching: I truly enjoy watching young children grow and flourish in their exposure to knowledge. I look forward to meeting all of you and joining you on your path to your future. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hello! My name is Annie Bostick, and I am a new 5th grade teacher at Woolridge Elementary. This will be my first year teaching, and I am so excited and honored to be a part of this school and community. I graduated from the University of Texas in 2017, where I majored in both Spanish and Linguistics. I have taught English in Bangkok, Thailand and have taught ESL at Casa Marianella for the last two years. I grew up here in Austin and am involved with my community in many ways; I am very involved in the coffee scene, enjoy the comedy scene, I volunteer at Casa Marianella, I take language classes at ACC, and I rock climb and hike with my friends! My life has been full of adventures and I have learned so much about the world through my travels. I am looking forward to this year and am very excited to get to know you. Please call me if you have any questions or concerns!
